Daniel  was born in London, of  St.Lucian parentage and was first introduced to the steel drum while still in school at the early age of thirteen.

He has since then played in many parts of the world including Northern Europe, where he participated in the Malmo Festival of Water (Sweden), The Freibury Jazz Festival, The North Sea Jazz Festival, The St.Lucia Jazz Festival, The Brighton Festival, the Island of Maderia, Tunisia in Africa, Israel, Bahrain, Dubia Adu Dhabi Oman, Qatar and Hong Kong.

He is familiar with the London Jazz scene, the Caribbean circuit and has shared the platform with such luminaries as Courtney Pine, USA Sax player Ronnie Laws, USA drummer Clifford Jarvis, the great Clark Terry, George Benson and bass player Marcus Miller.

Daniel is also the co-founder of the Jazz Funk group Double Visions and Pan Tonic Steel Orchestra, he has played with the British Airway's Groover's, Glissando Steel, and the Mangrove Steel Orchestra , Daniel has also done a great deal of cabaret work with Tony Charles Steel Combos in every leading London hotel.

Daniel has also recorded on the soon to come renowned Jazz Warriors album and on the Guitarist Cameron Pears  (About Time) album.
